Meet our Registered Social Worker

Alexis Christodoulou is a Registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers. She completed an Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Children’s Studies at York University and a Master’s degree in Psychology at Adler University, where she specialized in health and wellness.

Alexis believes in providing holistic, person-centred, strengths-based care and working collaboratively with clients to use their strengths to work on their challenges and achieve their goals and needs. Alexis also realizes how important it is to identify all aspects of an individual’s life that impact their well-being including their physical health, mental health, relationships, occupational or educational environment, and spirituality in this process. She uses an integrated approach that includes Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Narrative Therapy. Her areas of focus include depression, anxiety, self-esteem, relationship issues, work-life balance, stress management, and trauma. Alexis’ aim is to offer a space that encourages hope, empowerment, and growth through empathetic listening and evidence-based strategies.
