Samantha Hunt, MSW, RSW
Registered Social Worker
Samantha Hunt is a Registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers. She completed an undergraduate degree in Psychology at York University and a master’s degree in social work at the University of Southern California, where she specialized in military mental health.
Samantha has experience working as a clinical social worker in the community mental health setting, as well as with military families and military veterans. She has provided counselling services to individuals, couples, and families presenting with issues from anxiety, depression, self-esteem, illnesses and injuries, relationship and family concerns, major life transitions, and trauma.
Samantha has seen clients from diverse backgrounds and aims to provide an inclusive, safe, and respectful space for her clients. She is trained in a variety of evidence-based interventions, including Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness, EFT Couples’ Therapy, and Somatic Experiencing Therapy.
